Restaurant Review - Kitchen 305 in the New Port Hotel

I know I have been lapsed with my blogging. I have a lot to catch up with. I do have a post to do on YOLO from way back in March but I will take this time to do one on Kitchen 305 that I went to on Friday.

Kitchen 305 is located in Newport Beach hotel. I have been there a couple times for parties and one other time before for a dinner party which was great. When my cousin suggested we go there to catch some food on Friday I jumped at the request.

We got there around 1030 pm and there was a decent size crowd and music was blaring. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who, when we requested seating, informed us that there was also an open bar until 11. We headed straight to the bar and got drinks. We did expect crappy drinks but was quite surprised at the house vodka being good. We then immediately got seated.

The crowd was very live at the time since the Dj was playing and the mic man was interacting well with the diners. There was also a Steve Madden competition going on that night which added some excitement to the dinner. What's a Friday night without excitement?/!

After looking at the menu we decided to get things that we could share. We ordered crispy calamari, beef sliders and lobster mac and cheese. The wait time to get food, even though it was a full house was not more than 20 mins. When the food came out we were very happy with the portions and glad that we decided to order to share. The food was really good. It was great!!! I really forgot about how good the food was at that restaurant. The wait staff was also very friendly.

I apologies for the not so great pictures and so few, we had started diving into the food again (greediness is a sin) so i just whipped out my phone and took a few snaps in between bites.

Kitchen305 will surely have me back visiting them again. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was exciting and the wait staff was very amicable. The price for two of us was also great for the amount of food we got and had left overs.

I give Kitchen305 5 out of 5 for my experience that night!
